Air Bag Protection

All Journey models feature standard next-generation multi-stage driver and front-passenger air bags^[1], supplemental front seat-mounted side air bags^[1], and supplemental side-impact inflatable curtain air bags for all three rows - that's six airbags^[1] of protection in total.

Additionally, an Occupant-Restraint Controller (ORC) deploys airbags as required. The two-stage output also helps the airbag system protect against airbag-induced injuries to small, unbelted or out-of-position occupants.
